Congratulations Letter for wedding but sorry for not attending

Congratulation letters can be written for any reason whether it is someone’s marriage ceremony, birth, promotion, achievement or success. Greeting for congratulation can be done verbally by personally meeting the respective person or else a congratulation letter can be written. Letter written for congratulating someone should state the feelings of the sender towards the receiver.

Dear, Mr. Paul
Thank you so much for sending an invitation card to me of your son’s wedding ceremony on 25th September, 2010 at Galaxy Hotel. Please accept my heartiest congratulations to you and your all family members on this auspicious occasion. On the same day there were another wedding ceremony of my close relative’s daughter which is there is London therefore on 23rd I have a flight for London. Thus I won’t be able to come for your son’s wedding kindly excuse me for it and accept my apology as well as congratulations. After coming from London I promise that I will come to you house to meet the newly wed bride and bridegroom. My good wishes and my prayers are all there with them please give them my blessing and congratulate them on my behalf. Along with my blessing and this letter I am also sending one small gift for the newly wed bride and bridegroom give it to them on my behalf.
